Exercise five times a week – Exercise is a non negotiable aspect of life. Hit the gym, go for swimming class or go for regular walks. Choose what you can do and do this at least five times a week for your body to look great.

Eat more protein and fewer carbohydrates – Vegetables like lettuce, spinach, cauliflower, celery and beans are all good for health. Though we love yams and potatoes, we can’t always have them right? But avoiding them totally is also not the answer as they help in giving you the energy you need but proteins are great ways to reduce weight.

Hire a personal trainer- It’s great to hire a trainer as a personal trainer to help you practice at house or in your gym as they tell you what you need to do exactly to reach your ideal weight.

Review – Check your current weight and then do whats needs to be done to reach your ideal weight. You need to check your weight regularly and understand whether you are reaching your dream weight.

Eliminate Inertia from your system – It’s important that you remove laziness and be a go-getter. Not only will you look fantastic but also earn the respect and admiration of your loved ones. You will also be a role model for other people in your circles if you practice what you preach.

Reduce on sleep – It’s enough if you sleep for seven hours a day for normal functioning of your body.

SMART Goals – Specific, measurable, attainable, and realistic and time bound – Any goal that is based on the SMART principle is easier to achieve. In weight loss too, if your goals are S.M.A.R.T, then you can easily arrive at what you are looking for.

Eat in between when you are in hungry – When you are hungry at eleven in the morning, don’t eat junk but eat food that is low in calories like oats, fruits and green tea to make you feel better.

Do you have a bad attitude? – Having a bad attitude may spoil everything. So, if you are setting weight loss goals because you have to or because your family is forcing you to, then it just might never work. Anything to be successful requires some effort and consistency from you. Evaluate where you are going wrong and change your story to a successful one even if it takes one year to lose the weight you are targeting.

It’s all a matter of will power – Will power is really about the choice you make and the promises you keep. And, it is also whether you really are trying to do everything to reach all your goals. Will power is about stick to your choices. Will power in the context of weight loss is what really helps in weight reduction.

Unleash your inner diva- We all have great potential and all we have to do is call on it. All we have to do is raise our standards, chase it and then maintain it.

Research about foods that help in weight loss-Steak, sprouts, yogurt, apples, oats, eggs, beans, spinach, pasta and fish are all great foods to shed calories.

Say no to crash dieting, surgeries or starving – These are not the best ways to lose weight as they will leave you in a bad condition as crash dieting and starving shocks your body. Your body might not always take that kind of change. Any surgery should be strictly avoided as the best way to lose weight is to lose it naturally by taking time to shed the extra calories and inches.
